Original work: Oil painting
In this painting I tried to explore the ideas of loneliness and companionship, and I tried to convey the different emotion through the the vectors created by the trees, the girl's hand and the dog's line of sight. Also I tried to show the contrast in the ideas through the contrast of girl who is stationary and the dog that seems lively.

The Suzhou Museum designed by Ieoh Ming Pei

I find this architecture interesting because everything, from the pond, the windows, to the gardens, marries elements of tradition Suzhou architecture with contemporary designs. It is also interesting because each exhibition space has  windows designed to allow just the right amount of natural lighting which compliments the exhibits. Also the wooden interior of the exhibition space creates a warm and comfortable feeling that many museum lacks.

Photo taken in Xitang, China

The photo was taken early in the morning, and what I find interesting about this although there are no one in the photo, a sense of livelihood is created with the focus on the wagon. The ray of light that lightens the centre of the photo is contrasted with the dark surrounding, creating a feeling of town awakening.
